ASTD Fort Worth/Mid-cities Chapter in collaboration with the Dallas ASTD Chapter Presents:

A 2-Day Workshop:
Powerpoint for E-Learning & Building Interactive E-Learning with Storyline

Powerpoint for E-Learning - October 7th:

You can do a search online and find all sorts of whining and complaining about how PowerPoint is lame.  Know what? They’re all wrong.  Not only is PowerPoint not lame, it’s probably one of the most versatile and exciting applications out there.  The problem is that many people just don’t know how to access all of the PowerPoint goodness.

Regardless of whether you’re involved with E-Learning, instructor-led training, presentations or other learning situations, Tom’s session will introduce all sorts of ways to use PowerPoint so you can become a PowerPoint superstar with the ability to dazzle your co-workers, family, and possibly entertain guests at your next party. In addition, he’ll provide access to all sorts of free resources.

Bring your laptop and learn all sorts of ways to get more out of PowerPoint.

Requirements:
Participants will need a computer/laptop and PowerPoint installed (PowerPoint 2010 is preferred, but not required).

Building Interactive E-Learning with Storyline October 8th:

Create highly interactive e-learning with no programming required. The session is designed to be an interactive, hands-on learning experience using Articulate Storyline software.  This  session reviews the core authoring process and introduces key Storyline features.

In the first half of the day we’ll focus on the core authoring ideas to build the interactivity you want. And in the second half of the day we’ll build a few interactions common to many eLearning courses.

Requirements:

This is a beginner level introduction of Articulate Storyline. It’s hands on and requires participants have a computer/laptop and an installed version of Storyline. The trial version is fine. We’ll also provide additional resources and free templates for use after the session.

You can download the trial via this link: http://www.articulate.com/freetrial?utm_campaign=workshops&utm_medium=workshop-signups&utm_source=workshops
