Transformational Learning and Leadership – the Link!
John Wright, Simple Leadership Strategies
“The great aim of education is not knowledge, but action.” – Herbert Spencer, English Philosopher
The goal of every learning and performance professional is to provide training and development that furthers the organization's objectives. This requires that the people receiving the training apply the learning; creating new habits and improving procedures. This requires new thinking. It also requires new feelings! How many times has an individual’s application of a learning initiative failed because their heart wasn’t in it?
Meaningful and lasting change requires heart learning! How much information do you know but haven’t really learned? Connecting all these dots requires leadership.
John Wright is President and Founder of Simple Leadership Strategies. In the last ten years John has worked with teams in eleven countries on five continents helping them create leaders at every level. At the core of every learning and performance initiative John has delivered is Transformational Learning.
John has been training managers and developing leaders for over 30 years. He is a Certified Seminar Leader with the American Seminar Leaders Association and a Past President of ATD’s Fort Worth/Mid-Cities Chapter. John has been married to his wife Karen for 42 years and they have 4 children and 10 grand-children.
This meeting will start at 6:30 PM at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites DFW West, 820 Thousand Oaks Drive, Hurst TX 76054.
