Background: Dr. Will Powers has been an executive consultant in the area of workforce development for over 40 years. His candid and pragmatic focus upon organizational leadership and communication systems has helped thousands of business owners, executives, and workforce development professionals to reduce the headaches and heartaches of managing “Continual Improvement” to succeed. As he achieved an international reputation, he was in the unique and fortunate position of being able to focus intensively upon a small number of organizations each year while frequently speaking to key organizations. All this, while serving academia as a Full Professor, Chair and Associate Dean with over 200 scholarly research oriented publications.

Synopsis:Effective training is the toughest job in the world—but it doesn’t have to be!! This program is focused on how to deal with challenges facing organizations and all categories of talent development professionals. These challenges are identified and potential solutions described. Human Beings are strange critters; helping them improve themselves is more than quite a challenge in today’s world. Important coverage will be presented of how trainers can help leaders deal with their special challenges, what leaders can do to help trainers with their special challenges, and, of course, what leaders and trainers who are working together can do to help the participants deal with their special challenges.
