Program Summary:

Intuition at The Container Store
The Container Store is centered around 7 Foundation Principles, much like core values.  The principle that relates to training is: Intuition does not come to an unprepared mind. You must train before it happens.  Rachel will provide an overview of the company, share background on the Foundation Principles, and dive into The Container Store's emphasis on training for our stores, Home Office and Distribution Center.



About Rachel:
Rachel Kennedy is the Recruiting Manager for The Container Store. She started her Human Resources career leading talent acquisition at The Beck Group, a commercial architecture and construction firm headquartered in Dallas, where she built a national summer intern and college recruiting program, mentorship program, and led employee engagement & career path development. She loves her role as Recruiting Manager for The Container Store in the retail industry, focusing on strategic initiatives and talent acquisition. As a gardener, her favorite part of Human Resources is developing others’ careers and watching them grow. Rachel attended Austin College, and received her Master’s degree at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She and her husband are self-proclaimed foodies, and just welcomed their first child.

Meeting Agenda:

Registration opens at 5:30 pm

6:00 pm - 6:15 pm - Chapter announcements

6:15 pm - 7:15 pm - Program (1 hour)

7:15 pm - 7:30 pm - Q&A and prizes, Meeting Concludes

All "dinner" online reservations are due the Monday before the meeting by 5pm. Online registration for "dinner" will be closed at that time. Attendees not registered online will be considered Walk-In registrations and will be charged the "Attendee No Dinner" rate, $15.00
