Leveraging LinkedIn
Thursday, November 1st, 2018
Speaker: Tara Clackler
Program Summary:
Only 11% of LinkedIn Users have more than 100 people in their network. With over 500 million users, LinkedIn is
the tool with hundreds of components many of us may not be leveraging to communicate our personal brand and stay connected. In only 15 minutes a day, you can be thought of as the connection to have and the thought leader to pay attention to. By staying connected and relevant, you will avoid the possibility of one day finding yourself without a job and an uncultivated network. We will discuss how to invest in and strengthen your reach - now!
About Tara:
Tara Clackler is a Learning and Development leader, most recently managing L&D at The Art Institutes where she and her team created a first-of-its-kind sales leadership development program as well as a 120 hour new hire onboarding program from scratch, impacting 1200+ team members and their leaders. As a former sales director, their accomplishment of increasing revenue from newly graduated recruiters by 300% in their first month out of the gate was especially fulfilling. This and other successes reflect her eagerness to level set every team or group she’s a part of, starting with her “how to” monthly magazines she created in fourth grade on her mother’s dial up and Office 1.0, distributing to her classmates topics such as: How to Put on Makeup and How to Use AOL Instant Messenger. Her degree in music and vocal performance from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, only reinforced her penchant for sharing her passions with a crowd. When she isn’t teaching, writing content, or scrolling through LinkedIn, she is striving to be the best mother to one-year-old Abbey Nichole she can. She is currently in career transition, seeking new opportunities in L&D leadership.
