Emotional Intelligence

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
Thankfully, the phrase and idea of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is one that most people and companies have heard. Unfortunately, with the proliferation of the idea there is a lot of misconception about what it is and how to improve this learn-able and trainable skill.
This training/presentation will provide the basic understanding of EQ, the bridge between our emotional and rational minds as well as provide a few of the more easily mastered enhancement skills for participants to take home and start increasing their own EQ.
After the presentation, participants will:
- Understand the basic science of what EQ is and how it relates to the ‘whole person’
- Gain knowledge of the 4 tenants of EQ
- Learn skills and techniques to improve levels of EQ
- Uncover the value of empathy in interpersonal relationships and communication
- Discover what skills to identify and promote within an organization
