The Use of Simulation in Education
Chief Jim Davis
In this session, Chief Jim Davis of the Fort Worth Fire Department, will demonstrate how advanced simulation technology has assisted public safety organizations to adapt to community needs while making realistic scenario-based training safe and efficient.
Participants will walk away with an understanding of how the use of simulation helps to tie classroom learning to realistic scenarios in a safe learning environment.
The Fort Worth Fire Department is an all hazard emergency response organization that completes initial fire and emergency medical training as well as continuing education for 925 members of the fire department.
