The Power of “Belonging” and Why It is Important to You

During this season of “The Great Resignation,” many of today’s corporate workplaces are hybrid or remote environments. Unspoken communication, implicit learning, and verbal cues are filtered through a computer screen or mobile device. Individual employees can feel isolated. Consequently, organizations need to learn to foster “a healthy sense of belonging” among their people.

In her presentation, Professor Marcus delves into this topic to offer insights and inspire solutions. While she provides insights and strategies to Senior Leadership and Front-line Managers, she does not forget individual contributors in her content

There will be tips that individuals can use to enhance their own sense of belonging and even implement with colleagues to boost the atmosphere on their own teams.

Those who contribute to the Learning and Development of your organization will especially enjoy the “must share” items to include when developing or presenting curriculum based on this topic.

Professor Marcus is headquartered in the St. Louis, Missouri area. She will meet with us virtually using Zoom.
