"How to Survive and Thrive in the Expanding Learning Ecosystem"

From MOOCs to Mobile to xAPI, from neuroscience research that challenges cherished beliefs about learning to the coming of Human Capital Management, it has never been so difficult to keep up with change in learning theory and practice as it is today. Add to all those developments the ongoing disintermediation of the traditional models of education, training, and other channels that have shaped and continue to shape the way many organizations and instructional designers try to support learning and performance. It’s a lot to take in, to understand, and to proactively put to good use.

What can you do to maintain and even improve your effectiveness in this fast-paced world? And why is this is all going to be very good for all of us in the learning business? In a fast 45 minutes, Bill Brandon will give you an overview of the major trends and drivers that are changing our work in learning and development today and some answers to those two very basic questions.
