Join us on site at Sabre for a unique chapter meeting. We will be touring the Sabre Usability Labs and learn how they test to see how user friendly a website is and how to fix it if it is not. This same information can be applied to the training room or ISD.

This meeting is limited to the first 40 people.

Our speaker Brian Sullivan is the Usability Principal at the Sabre Human Factors Center. Brian is actively involved in the design and usability community--Founder of Big Design Conference, Chair of World Usability Day (2007-14), and President of DFW-UXPA (2006-14).

Brian is currently writing a book on the Design Studio Method, which is a facilitated sketching workshop with designers and other product stakeholders. Brian has given talks at SxSW, Big Design, UxPA, IA Summit, and Boston IXDA Conference. His talk called Design Like Da Vinci was the most popular talk from SxSW 2013 with over 210,000 views on Slideshare.

Brian has worked with AT&T, Burger King, American Airlines, SkyChefs, United Airlines, and Carter Blood Center. Brian lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, son, and cat (who runs the house).

NOTE:  No dinner will be served at this meeting. However, those interested are invited to meet at Cristina's Mexican Restaurant in Trophy Club (2003 Texas 114 Business #300, Roanoke, TX 76262) after the meeting.

The Dallas ASTD chapter has asked us to join them in partering with Half Price Books' Half Pint Library book drive and donate books that your children have outgrown. For each book you donate during the book drive, Half Price Books will match it. Bring your books to our March 6th meeting and we will take them to the appropriate contact. Thank you.
