In celebration of Women’s History Month, join us for an insightful panel discussion with women leaders in Learning & Development (L&D). This interactive session will explore their journeys, challenges, and the strategies they’ve used to lead and inspire in the L&D field. Together with our experienced moderator, these pioneering women will share stories of resilience, discuss the evolving landscape of professional development, and provide actionable advice for women aspiring to make an impact in L&D.
About Our Panelists
MISTY KLEMAN - SENIOR DIRECTOR
Misty Kleman is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience in marketing, communications and business strategy, holding various leadership roles for Fortune 10 companies. She serves as an adjunct professor at University of North Texas and Sam Houston University, sharing her expertise with aspiring professionals and mentoring students as they develop and transition into their careers. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Misty is passionate about giving back to her community and empowering other women. She is actively involved in supporting women's health initiatives, partnering with organizations to increase access to early breast cancer screening and provide support for women navigating survivorship so that they can thrive post-recovery. Misty is a devoted mother of two active preteens and a proud dog mom.

ASHLEY JARAMILLO CASON - TALENT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Strengthening employee capabilities through the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning and development programs is central to Ashley's work as the Talent Development Manager at Murata Electronics North America. In this role, she collaborates with stakeholders to align talent development initiatives with business objectives, leveraging data to ensure that learning outcomes yield tangible results. Her skill in creating impactful programs has earned her team the 2024 AXIS Award from the Talent Development Association, Dallas Chapter, recognizing their outstanding Talent Strategy and Management. Ashley holds a Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication with minors in Leadership Studies and Marketing from the University of Central Florida, as well as a Master's degree in Higher Education from the University of South Carolina. With 15 years of experience working in diverse learning initiatives, she has contributed to the professional development of thousands of individuals across her previous roles in Florida, South Carolina, and Virginia. Additionally, she has worked on international projects in Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Japan, and Taiwan.

ZOHRA SAMJI-BELL - SR. INSTRUCTOR
Zohra, a seasoned educational professional with over a decade of experience in training and development within secondary education and non-profit organizations. Recognized for a natural aptitude in curating engaging curricula that align with organizational and state standards, Zohra is also known for guiding colleagues in integrating technological resources into instruction.
Most recently, Zohra earned a Master of Science in Instructional Design from the University of North Texas. With expertise in graphic design principles and instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE and SAM, Zohra develops curricula at various levels. As a teacher, Zohra played a key role in supporting colleagues by creating project-based units of inquiry that enhanced technology integration in the learning environment.
Described by colleagues as progressive, driven, down-to-earth, and highly technical, Zohra is an instructional expert dedicated to delivering superior solutions that achieve effective results.
