Session Description
Most failure frameworks tell you to learn from it. This session teaches you how. The 5 Keys to Failure is a mechanism-based workshop built for L&D professionals who develop people for a living and who know the difference between a growth mindset poster and a tool that actually works. You'll leave with the Attribution Audit, a research-grounded processing framework your teams can use immediately to turn setbacks into traction instead of shame.
About the Speaker
Jeffery Mercier

Jeffery Mercier is a Distinguished Toastmaster, men's formation coach, and the founder of ARC Development LLC — a Dallas-Fort Worth organization built on the conviction that discipline is not a motivational concept. It is a mechanism.
Jeffery's background spans residential construction, platform speaking, and men's development, three disciplines that share a common thread: you cannot build what you have not first been willing to design from the ground up. His work with ARC Development focuses on identity formation for men who were never given a blueprint, drawing on research in attribution theory, stress mindset, and post-traumatic growth.
He has facilitated men's conferences, coached adult men through structured six-month formation programs, and built curriculum for youth organizations in the DFW area. His approach is research-grounded, mechanism-driven, and unapologetically direct.
His framework: A mindset without a mechanism is just a mantra.
